Git LookBack is a free web application that creates visual summaries of your GitHub contribution activity. The service analyzes your public GitHub data to generate personalized statistics and shareable graphics.

3. GitHub Authentication

To use our service, you must authenticate using your GitHub account. By doing so, you authorize us to access your public GitHub data as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity

5. Intellectual Property

The Git LookBack service, including its design, graphics, and code, is owned by us. Your GitHub data remains yours. Any statistics or graphics generated from your data may be freely shared by you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the statistics generated will be 100% accurate. GitHub API limitations may affect data availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users.
